New cars. Light trucks and vans under 8,000 pounds. Recreational vehicles excluding trailers. Excludes motorcycles.

What is a Lemon?
Four unsuccessful repairs or 30 business days out of service within shorter of 1 year or 12,000 miles.

Notice Requirement
Written notice to manufacturer and opportunity to repair.
Illinois does not have a State-run arbitration program.
